Another way to do scary hands is to go to the craft store and get a roll of gauze that already has plaster of paris in it. You get your husbands hand and greese him up with vasoline and then begin to cut strips of gauze about 6 or 7 inches strips. Dip them in the water and begin to form around your husband hand. Have him spread his finger apart as far as he can kind of claw like. Let it dry for a few minutes and do it again. you want to have at least 1/4 inch thickness. Let them dry and paint them with green and brown paint so they look dirty and make the nails black or grey. Then dig a little hole in the ground for the hand to come up out of and push dirt around the base so it looks like it is coming out of the ground.
