Know what’s really scary?
Knowing there’s only seven months left to work on your Halloween 2025 props.
Oh, sure, you laugh now. But before we all know it, summer will be here (gaaaah — watch that sun!), replete with the sounds of haunters hammering in their garages. Are you ready?
HalloweenCostumes.com is!* I spoke to this world-famous haunter’s haven and got the tea on some creepy new offerings for 2025. Want a sneak peek? (creepy voice) Follow me.
75 New Product Launches Planned
The coolest news, of course, is that HalloweenCostumes.com has just launched 13 new animatronics for spooky season.
The company won’t be stopping there, however.
“This is the first of three animatronics/decor launches in 2025,” company spokesperson Wyatt Edwards revealed. “We’re launching 75 new products before Halloween.”
Nice.
So, Which Animatronics Are the Coolest?

Since one of the scariest things about being a haunter is that budgets are a thing, I asked: which ones should haunters grab first?
Edwards said they’re all cool, but some stand-outs include “33-foot and 50-foot Stay Puft inflatables, Annabelle, The Nun, Chucky, (and) designs by Brick Thunder.”
He said that now is the time to grab the spook that really floats your pumpkin. “Several products are in stock now and the rest are on pre-order,” Edwards told me.

What’s Trending for 2025 At the Store?
I’m never satisifed with one straightforward answer, so I threw another one into the mix.
What are people asking for this year?
“Most Halloween trends are based on what’s been popular in media, like movies, television, video games, and so on,” Edwards said.
Good point, but which items specifically for 2025?
“There are new Lilo & Stitch, Jurassic World, Superman, and Conjuring movies coming out there year, so expect to see plenty of costumes from those franchises,” he revealed.
Can’t you just see standing in a Nun costume next to the Nun animatronic and jumping out to scare the Pop Rocks out of innocent trick-or-treaters? I can.
Curious About the Over/Under on the Company?
I was, so (wait for it) I grilled…err, asked.
How long has your company been in business?
Edwards: “The company started in 1992, renting out costumes made by the Fallenstein family, and eventually selling costumes made by other manufacturers. In 2001, our CEO, Tom Fallenstein, brought the company online.”
Where are you located?
Edwards: “We’re based in North Mankato, Minnesota.”
Do you have brick and mortar stores, or are you exclusively online?
Edwards: “We are exclusively online. In fact, we’re now the world’s largest online-only costume retailer.”
What has been one of your biggest consistent sellers in the past?
Edwards: “Witch costumes and Disney Sidekicks, like Kristoff from Frozen or Russell from Up, are always popular, but the biggest single item is a Spider-Man costume for toddlers.”
My thanks to Mr. Edwards and HalloweenCostumes.com for the info and for their infinite patience.
And remember, haunters. Get ready — Halloween’s coming!
